Data Collection

Inboxup data collection policy is to collect as little user information as possible. These are:

  • Your basic info when you authenticate via google - name, email address, avatar, timezone and language.
  • Log data including IP (Internet Protocol) address, browser type, the pages of our site that you visit and time spent on those pages.
  • Information collected by mailtracking service:
    • Open tracking
    • browser , operating system and ip address
    • timestamp on each opens
    • history of times if the recipient has opened the recieved email.
    • Email address of recipient and subject without email body to know which recipient has opened the mail.

We do not store user passwords and it's impossible to do as we only communicate via google oauth 2.0 mechanism which requires little to no permission at all. You can revoke access at any time.


Like any other website, InboxUp uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited by third party analytics provider (Google Analytics) The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.


We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit. This is commonly referred to as transport layer security (“TLS”) or secure socket layer (“SSL”) technology.

Children Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. InboxUp does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13.     You can easily delete all the tracking data from settings page after login into dashboard.

  • Where's my email tracking information stored?

    All your information are stored on google cloud servers.

  • Does inboxup stored the body of tracked mails.

    No, we do not store any email body.

  • How can remove access to my google account ?

    You can simply remove access from google account dashboard here. However, unlike other mailtrackers, we don't ask for any restricted or sensitive permission from oauth for tracking.
